Making Art for the sake of making art. Giving it away for the sake of giving.
To sum it up the whole idea is that a bunch of original art is donated by artists to be shown in a gallery and then taken down and given out on the streets for free by means of bicycle. The whole idea started in Berlin in 2006. Be sure to check out papergirl-berlin.de to see the how this widespread project originated!
We are asking YOU to step up and create something that will enhance the community around us. The donations will be given to complete strangers around the city streets. What can you make that will communicate new ideas to them? Medium does not matter (as long as it is rollable i.e. paper): drawings prints, photographs, paintings, you name it! Or not. The choice is yours! All submissions are accepted and appreciated.
